Union Planters selects Principia Partners’ integrated treasury risk management solution
Principia Partners provides risk management for fixed income and complex derivative instruments
Jersey City, New Jersey, August 12th, 2003 – Principia Partners LLC, a leading provider of front-to-back office systems for global capital markets, today announced that Union Planters, a full service regional bank in Memphis, Tennessee has selected the Principia System for managing the firm’s derivatives trading and operations.
The system will allow Union Planters to grow its business and support vanilla through complex structured products, while facilitating operational processing requirements such as FAS 133 reporting and workflow. The extensive pricing, deal capture, and analytical tools will enable Union Planters to better manage enterprise-wide risk while providing a wider range of cost-effective products and service to its institutional clients. Union Planters will also review the possibility of further enhancing their analytic capabilities by leveraging the system’s ability to model various assets, liabilities, and derivatives.
